Job description

Position Summary

The position is required to serve the customerAaas needs and the requirements of their aircraft in accordance with Jet AviationAaas policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Possess a valid driverAaas license
  • Ability to read and communicate in English
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use
  • Ability to learn the different types of corporate aircraft and their individual cleaning requirements.
  • Ability to interact directly with tenants, customers, and fellow employees to resolve problems and issues that may arise during the shift.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain an aircraft security ID badge within 30 days from date of hire.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to effectively present information on a one-to-one basis with fellow employees.
Main Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks (e.g., sweeping and cleaning floors and work areas, picking up papers and refuse from grounds, assisting in the handling of heavy materials, making minor repairs, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, cleaning, dusting, washing windows, moving, and polishing furniture and equipment).
  • Follows specific processes and procedures to maintain the buildings, facilities, and grounds.
  • Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of aircrafts within established operating procedures established by Jet Aviation.
  • Interacts directly with tenants, customers, and fellow employees to resolve problems and issues that may arise during the shift.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and assigned vehicles.
  • Ability to learn and understand ground power operations to include the safe application of both AC and DC power to general and corporate aircraft.
  • Ability to learn the different types of corporate aircraft and their individual cleaning requirements.
  • Provides assistance in cleaning the hangars, facilities, including the FBO and grounds keeping of all buildings.
  • Provides assistance in washing/detailing cars.
  • Provides a positive and professional first impression by exhibiting the proper demeanor, organization, and service level to arriving and departing guests.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

  • Knowledge of a second language is desirable but not required

Work Environment

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
