Full-Time | On-site | Hiring Contingent upon Award

Synertex LLC is seeking a Logistician II to provide supply and logistical support services in support of United States Coast Guard aircraft logistics activities in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This position supports aircraft logistics activities through procurement documentation support, forecasting analysis, inventory monitoring, supply coordination, and logistics support activities performed in coordination with Engineering and Procurement personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess equipment maintenance and logistics support requirements for USCG aircraft.
  • Submit Supply Item Change Requests (SICR).
  • Prepare and provide documentation supporting procurement actions.
  • Review and analyze data to determine item interchangeability and substitution options.
  • Evaluate logistical support plans for feasibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Engineering staff to review special inventory requirements.
  • Analyze forecasting model outputs.
  • Work with Engineering and Procurement teams on supply-related issues, including sources, databases, unit costs, and optimal stock quantities.
  • Utilize Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS) and Aviation Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS) systems to generate requirements documents.
  • Create Unsatisfactory Reports for approval by Government personnel.
  • Monitor aviation inventory and related logistics data.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Be citizens of the U.S.
  • Possess the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess knowledge and ability to perform simple arithmetic.
  • Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess excellent ability to manage multiple task with competing deadlines.
  • Possess ability to work with minimal Government oversight.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least five (5) years of experience in supply/logistics.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing tasks such as registration coding, inventory consolidation, long lead-time items, support items, items with multiple sources of supply, and items with proprietary data issues.
  • Possess at least five (5) years of aviation inventory management experience beyond the role of a Supply Technician (i.e., Material Coordinator, Inventory Manager).
  • Be knowledgeable about USCG or Department of War (DoW) aircraft logistics support practices and procedures.
  • Possess experience utilizing AMMIS and ALMIS systems.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Successfully complete the required Background Investigation (BI) process and obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and ALC badge in accordance with contract requirements.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • One (1) year experience in USCG procedures.
  • Proficiency in using Aviation Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS).
  • Proficiency in using Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS).
