Job description

    Sign On Bonus if Hired in as a Foreman

    • Skilled in operating compactors, saws, skid steers, and other equipment necessary for hardscape installation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide timely & accurate status reporting to Production Manager as assigned & upon request
    • Oversee daily operations on hardscape projects, including scheduling tasks, assigning work to crew members, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications to ensure accurate layout and alignment of hardscape features.
    • Ensure Crew timesheets are entered in a timely and accurate manner into LMN
    • Actively monitor job hours & project requirements to ensure job quality and client satisfaction
    • Consistently conduct jobsite reviews for quality & safety
    • Actively resolve any/all client &/or crew issues & update/include Production Manager as needed 
    • Knowledge of excavation, grading, and compaction techniques to create a stable base for pavers, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements
    • Maintain standards of cleanliness for jobsite, company equipment & vehicles & Crew member uniforms
    • Manage loading/unloading of vehicles for beginning & end of workday
    • Proficiency in installing pavers, stone, concrete, and other materials using proper methods for cutting, leveling, and joint alignment to meet industry standards.
    • Ensure any/all incidents are reported same day & Incident Report is completed & submitted
    • Collaborate with Production Manager to identify & develop inhouse talent, optimize field crew quality and efficiency
    • Develop & support a culture that enhances strong client & employee relationships
    • Participate in all meetings as scheduled & upon request including Foremen meetings
    • Participate in & support snow events including plowing &/or spreading deicing agent (MANDATORY)
    Experience/Requirements:
    • High school diploma
    • 3-5+ years of industry production/maintenance supervisory experience with high growth $1MM+ company- mandatory
    • Valid driver’s license (less < 2 points) with ability to driver truck and trailer- mandatory
    • Bilingual in English & Spanish (Preferred)

    Physical Requirements:
    • Lifting, pulling, &/or pushing 50 pounds
    • Bending, Sitting, Standing, climbing &/or walking 8 hours or more per day
    • Navigate diverse terrains
    • Work in all seasons & climate conditions
    • Understanding of drainage systems and load-bearing requirements to prevent water pooling and ensure long-term durability of hardscape structures.
