Job description

Role Overview:

Join our team this summer as a Property Management Intern! This paid internship offers students hands-on experience in business operations, hospitality management, entrepreneurship, and strategic problem-solving. Interns will develop transferable skills that stand out on resumes and future job applications.

Detailed Description:

We are a growing property management business that runs multiple Airbnb rental properties across New Hampshire, including one of the largest Airbnbs in New England, located on a beautiful farm in the country. The internship will primarily focus on this main farmhouse property, a unique large-scale farm-stay destination that hosts guests from across the country. During our busy summer season, interns will help manage daily operations, guest experiences, logistics, and problem-solving across a dynamic hospitality environment.

  • This paid internship offers flexible hours and a hybrid environment where you will engage in both in-person and online guest interactions.

Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience coordinating guest experiences, organizing logistics, and ensuring smooth operations for a wide range of groups. This also includes helping ensure the smooth operation of the wide range of amenities we offer, including a stocked trout pond, horseback riding, swimming and hot tub areas, and disc golf. A key part of this role is being proactive and creative in maintaining and improving these experiences so guests can enjoy the activities on the property!

Day to Day Tasks:

Students interested in business, entrepreneurship, management, marketing, hospitality, communications, or operations will gain valuable professional experience applicable across many career paths.

  • Assist with managing end-to-end property and hospitality operations
  • Complete various online and administrative tasks related to Airbnb platform management and business operations
    • Help develop strategic pricing and availability decisions to maximize bookings and guest satisfaction
    • Manage automated messaging systems and respond to guest questions and requests online
  • Collaborate effectively within a small, fast-paced team environment. Proactively identify and solve operational challenges in real time
    • Coordinate with team members and contribute ideas to improve property spaces and guest experiences
    • Support vendor relationships and coordinate maintenance needs when issues arise
    • Lead guided farm tours and create engaging experiences for guests

Preferred Qualifications

The role requires strong communication skills, creativity, patience, and adaptability.

  • No experience necessary — we will teach you!
  • However, interns should be personable; feeling comfortable interacting with the public, meeting new people, and adapting to situations as they arise in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should also have strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • For online responsibilities, applicants should have strong writing and organizational skills and be comfortable using technology and navigating online tools. Familiarity with the Airbnb platform is a plus.
