Job description

Private, non-profit organization with 10 community centers that provide primary and preventative care services throughout Arizona is currently seeking a full-time BE/BC Family Medicine NP to join its Page, AZ clinic. Must be able to see all ages.
  • Outpatient only
  • No Call
  • 4 10s (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri)

This is a local FQHC that offers affordable healthcare on a sliding scale basis. Services offered include primary care, well woman care, family planning, vaccines, financial services and occupational health services. Must have prescriptive authority for controlled medications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years clinical experience, new grads ok for certain locations
  • Multi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish/Navajo)
  • Knowledge of NextGen EMR, Microsoft, and Outlook

Located in Northern Arizona near the AZ/UT border on the southern shores of beautiful Lake Powell, this community offers outstanding recreation and community opportunities. Located in the center of "Canyon Country," you are just a short drive from the North or South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion National Parks, Monument Valley and Canyon De Chelley. Annual events include golf tournaments on Lake Powell National Golf Course, bass fishing tournaments, mountain bike racing, rodeos, Native American dance performances and pow wows, art shows and an annual air show. A broad range of community facilities are located here, including two museums, a community center, a library, a recreation center, a visitor center, one golf course, three parks, six lighted tennis courts, and several football, softball and baseball fields.
The local Municipal Airport has a lighted 5,500-foot paved runway and offers flights to and from Phoenix and Denver. Charter service and tours are also available. Weather here is temperate with an average yearly maximum temperature of 71.9 degrees and an average yearly minimum temperature of 47.2 degrees. The hottest month is July with a daily average maximum temperature of 97 degrees and the coldest months are December and January with daily maximum temperatures averaging 45 degrees. Average yearly total precipitation is 4.78 inches.
