The International Operations Manager is responsible for daily international operations and organizational management of the (city). Recruit, develop and motivate staff to provide a world class customer experience and meet or exceed client expectations.  Ensure that (city) Station has the necessary tools in place to succeed and expand their business levels in international product lines in a sustained fashion. To work with and network with AIT verticals, overseas AIT offices as well as partners to promote AIT’s strategic corporate goals and to ensure AIT (city) is the leader in providing customer solutions with our (city) station’s growth and profitability.


  • Support key account operations requirements and ensure service execution and reliability.
  • Be actively involved and in front of clients to develop revenue.
  • Work collaboratively with our AIT offices overseas as well as our global partners.
  • Actively recruit International Operations staff within the market
  • Support AIT’s strategy to support our “Global Triangle” and our Drive for Five Corporate strategy.
  • Initiate dialogue with key decision makers throughout AIT organization to develop and promote AIT’s, “customer solution” and promote AIT PHL within AIT.
  • Support field/strategic sales teams in joint calls.
  • Regular joint sales calls with key decision makers at targeted customers.
  • Closely work with Global product teams and designated core carriers to improve margin/buying costs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the process and meet operational growth targets.
  • Ensure that the international team is continuously meeting or exceeding all corporate KPI’s.
  • Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.

  • 7 – 10 years’ Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 

  • Negotiation and Procurement skills; Operational and P&L management of global products and services.  

  • Ability to manage service execution at a high-performance level.  

  • Teaching and mentoring in a broad global environment.  

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding P&L objectives in a high-performance organization. 

  • Minimum of seven years of freight forwarding experience, with large scale air freight and ocean freight operational background desired.   

  • Minimum of 3 years multi station P&L experience required.  

  • Experience with diversified freight forwarding products including logistics and international product lines required.   

  • Previous experience in negotiating and executing Freight Forwarding Carrier Agreements.


In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
