Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 9 FSS, Resource Management Flight, Beale AFB, CA.
This role is for Regular Full-Time employment, offering benefits and ensuring a minimum of 35 hours of work weekly, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours per week.

Duties
Help
Ensures proper identification is presented before disbursement is made. Collects cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts, club tokens, coupons, and other supporting documentation. Prepares and issues change from funds as required. Prepares bank deposits and ensures daily deposit in a timely manner. Ensures all monies are accounted for by balancing with the posting of funds placed in the activity's safe before actual bank deposit. Prepares cash reports and notifies supervisor of any suspected irregularities. Cashes checks and accepts payment for dues and charges to accounts. Ensures the proper accounting for charge cards, sales slips, and guest checks and ensures they are included within the daily cashier's report. Accepts and processes new membership applications. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers. Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control methods. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
