Position Overview

Synergy Counseling is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote role focused on early intervention services. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the developmental needs of children and their families.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that address each child's unique requirements.
  • Monitor progress and outcomes as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to families that enhance their child's developmental skills, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Strategies to create effective learning plans in alignment with family priorities.
  • Engage in regular communication with team members, families, and external stakeholders to promote a cohesive learning environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on infants and toddlers, particularly those experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. The Early Intervention services you provide will be instrumental in equipping families with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to foster their child's growth during the crucial first three years of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health in Illinois.
  • A valid driver's license is required for potential travel to family homes, if necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to various learning styles and needs to support each child's individualized treatment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, fostering a respectful and collaborative relationship with families and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of experience working within early intervention environments.
  • Experience implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices to enhance child development.

Compensation and Benefits
