Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, stressors, and therapeutic goals.
  • Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients manage stress and improve emotional regulation.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions that are tailored to specific mental health issues while integrating mindfulness exercises, such as meditation and breathing techniques.
  • Lead group workshops that educate participants on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.
  • Document client progress meticulously, maintaining detailed treatment plans and adjusting approaches as needed based on client feedback.
  • Collaborate with fellow therapists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive therapeutic approach that meets the diverse needs of our clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including practicing mindfulness personally to enhance your therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Clients range from adolescents to adults, coming from various socio-economic backgrounds. As a therapist, you will engage with clients who are seeking compassionate support to improve their mental health and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and active licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
  • Strong foundation in therapeutic practices, particularly proficiency in mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral methods.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish trusting relationships with clients and promote a therapeutic alliance.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mindfulness-based approaches and therapies, with additional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) being advantageous.
  • Previous experience with telehealth services and virtual therapy modalities is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
