Performance Responsibilities
* Supports the student(s) in recitation, reading, and other curriculum tasks, guiding and helping, but not teaching.
* Under supervision of the intervention specialist teacher, works one on one or with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
* Performs clerical duties such as running copies, putting up bulletin board, preparing materials, etc.
* Implements teacher-directed interventions to support pupil performance objectives.
* Assists students where necessary in accomplishing self-help skills and gradually decrease support as appropriate.
* Assists in documentation of pupil performance.
* Assist in toileting needs, including diapering.
* Will work with student(s) who has medical needs which could include tube feedings, insulin testing, etc.
* Other Duties as Assigned
Minimum Job Requirements
* Must have a high school diploma or GED
* Must be able to pass a BCI&I and FBI criminal background check
