Job description

Optimize Partners is an executive search and consulting firm providing top-tier talent and staffing services to technology focused organizations. This is a full-time salaried, hybrid position, serving as an architect and the backbone of an AI-first people technology ecosystem for a global B2B SaaS organization in the data intelligence space. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

In this role, you will define and execute a strategic roadmap that transforms how HR systems, data, and workflows operate—leveraging automation and intelligent technologies to drive measurable business impact.

You will lead a global team in building and executing a roadmap that integrates intelligent automation & AI tools into workflows, and partner closely with cross-functional leaders to reimagine how technology enables the employee experience, improves operational efficiency, and scales organizational growth. This is an opportunity to build and lead a modern, data-driven People Technology function at the forefront of innovation.

Responsibilities:
Define and Lead AI-First Strategy
  • Develop and execute a multi-year People Technology roadmap centered on AI, automation, and scalability
  • Evaluate and drive build vs. buy decisions to optimize system capabilities and ROI
  • Align technology initiatives to broader business goals and workforce strategy
Drive Automation & Intelligent Workflows
  • Design and implement automation solutions to eliminate manual processes across HR, Recruiting, Payroll, and IT workflows
  • Leverage iPaaS platforms and emerging AI tools to create seamless, end-to-end system integrations
  • Identify high-impact opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience
Act as a Strategic Advisor
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate technology initiatives into business value and outcomes
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, executive-ready manner
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on People Technology trends, innovation, and best practices
Own the People Technology Ecosystem
  • Oversee the administration, performance, and security of core HR systems and integrated platforms
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across the technology landscape
  • Continuously optimize system design to support analytics, reporting, and decision-making
Lead Teams and Vendor Relationships
  • Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing People Technology team
  • Partner with external vendors, manage contracts, and lead strategic reviews
  • Own the lifecycle of system enhancements, upgrades, and change management initiatives
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in People Technology, HRIS, or related domains, with a strong preference for Workday and Greenhouse ATS
  • 4+ years of experience managing and/or leading teams and delivering complex technology initiatives
  • Deep expertise in HR platforms (e.g., Workday, ATS systems) and integration toolsHands-on experience with automation platforms and AI technologies (e.g., iPaaS, LLMs, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into execution
  • Excellent communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders
  • Track record of driving operational improvements and technology-driven transformation
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $170K - $190K per year, and is not eligible for commission-based compensation. In addition, the company offers bonus potential, equity, 401K + company match, and competitive total rewards package.
