Cloud Infrastructure Engineers build and operate the shared technical foundation on which applications run. Their scope includes networking, compute, storage, identity, secrets, connectivity, and recovery capabilities, designed as a coherent environment rather than a collection of service configurations.

They use automation to create repeatable environments, establish guardrails, and make operating conditions visible through monitoring. Where DevSecOps Engineers own the secure delivery path, Cloud Infrastructure Engineers own the platform capabilities, service configuration, capacity, resilience, and operational patterns that delivery teams consume.

What you'll build

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Versioned cloud environments for networks, compute, storage, identity, and connectivity.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Landing-zone patterns, account structures, and guardrails for teams using shared cloud services.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Resilience capabilities including backup, recovery, failover, and capacity management.
