                                                     General Cardiologist- Advanced Cardiac Imaging

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship trained, BC/BE general non-invasive Cardiologist with fellowship training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging to be a member of our Cardiology Division at our Center for Advanced Medicine flagship facility, 636 bed Level I Trauma Center in Temple, Texas.  Training in Cardiac MRI/CT required.

Cardiovascular services include a top tier STEMI program, complex coronary interventions and ablations, cardiac transplantation and LVAD implantation, advanced cardiac imaging and cardiogenic shock/ECMO teams.  Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple is ranked as the #1 Cardiovascular Teaching Hospital by Fortune/Premier AI in 2025. 

Duties include inpatient and outpatient coverage as well as rotated call. Teaching in the cardiology fellowship and internal medicine residency programs is expected.  Faculty appointment through Baylor College of Medicine at rank commensurate with academic experience is expected, and involvement with the education of medical students is variable dependent on interest.  Baylor Scott & White Health is an integrated system with one EMR (EPIC) and access to all specialties under one umbrella.  Our state-of-the-art facilities offer a variety of medical and surgical specialties for men, women, and children.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty. Alternatively, they must show effective pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
