Jack Henry is looking for anAI Consultantto lead strategic engagements that help financial institutions move from AI interest to practical, high-value execution. As the lead advisor in our model, you will partner directly with our specialized AI team to guide client organizations through critical service areas including board strategy, risk governance, employee adoption, and agent enablement. If you excel at bridging the gap between cutting-edge Generative AI and real-world financial outcomes, this is your opportunity to shape an AI-ready future for financial institutions.

This position is a hybrid role requiring at least 1 day per week in any of the following office locations: Allen, TX, Birmingham, AL, Cedar Falls, IA, Charlotte, NC, Lenexa, KS, Louisville, KY, Monett, MO or Springfield, MO.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leads and executes comprehensive business process discovery efforts within functional departments (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, Operations) at a strategic level
  • Facilitates value stream mapping sessions to visualize current state processes, identify bottlenecks, and pinpoint areas ripe for AI intervention
  • Designs and leads engaging workshops with cross-functional teams to collaboratively identify challenges, brainstorm AI-driven solutions, and build consensus
  • Applies a strong understanding of generative AI technologies (e.g., large language models, content generation, code generation) to identify practical applications within identified business processes
  • Evaluates the feasibility, potential impact, and return on investment (ROI) of proposed AI solutions.
  • Develops clear and concise recommendations for AI-powered solutions, outlining the proposed technology, implementation steps, and anticipated benefits
  • Partners with functional teams and IT to support the successful implementation of AI solutions, providing guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assists in the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new AI-driven processes
  • Contributes to the development of internal best practices and knowledge sharing around AI applications within the organization
  • Stays abreast of the latest advancements in generative AI and business process improvement methodologies
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Must have a minimum of 9 years combinaton of experience in any of the following categories: consulting, business transformation and or technology advisor.
  • Must have experience in Technology and financial services.
  • Experience leading customer-facing workshops, consulting engagements, and strategic advisory initiatives.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership, executive stakeholders, and boards.
  • Experience building generative AI solutions for a variety of business partners.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% to attend internal business meetings, training and or client engagements.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Familiarity with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework or evolving AI regulatory standards applicable to financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with core banking platforms, common financial institution tech stacks, and typical FI operational workflows.
  • Hands-on familiarity with enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or enterprise LLM frameworks.
  • Understanding of AI Agents to collaborate effectively with technical AI Engineers.
  • Experience partnering with Account Executives (AEs) to help qualify client readiness, scope consulting proposals, or frame commercial engagements.
