Systems Engineering Services is seeking a Sr. AI Platform Engineer based in the DMV Area.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to build the foundational infrastructure required to securely deploy, govern, observe, and scale enterprise AI capabilities. The role will start with a focused 3 6 month mandate to enable coding agents, including GitHub Copilot and Claude Code using BYOK deployment patterns, with model access served through Parsons-controlled cloud environments across Azure AI Foundry and AWS Bedrock.
In parallel, you will extend that same foundation into a broader AI platform capability for enterprise AI applications that require governed model access, MCP-based access to tools and data, secure agent runtime patterns, and reusable agent development platforms in Azure AI Foundry and AWS AgentCore.
Why It Will Fun:
This role creates the secure operating foundation for enterprise adoption of AI. Coding agents are the first high-priority use case because they create immediate developer productivity value and require strong model access, tool access, observability, cost, and compliance controls. The longer-term value is a reusable AI platform foundation that can support additional enterprise AI applications, MCP-enabled integrations, and governed agent development across Federal and Commercial teams.
