Position:
The primary focus of an AI & Coding Instructor will be to teach Snapology programs that introduce children to the exciting world of artificial intelligence, coding, and technology. Our instructors inspire creativity, curiosity, and innovation while helping students develop foundational skills in AI, computer science, engineering, and problem-solving
Programs are designed to make complex technology concepts fun, interactive, and accessible through hands-on activities. Instructors do not need to be AI experts but should have a passion for technology, learning, and teaching young students.
This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in:

This role requires collaboration and communication with Snapology leadership while representing the Snapology organization to parents and children with a high degree of professionalism.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Lead groups of up to 15 students through AI, coding, and technology-based curriculum activities
  • Introduce students to AI concepts, coding skills, and emerging technologies in an engaging way
  • Guide students through hands-on projects using technology tools and learning materials
  • Encourage creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies when needed
  • Manage classroom behavior by establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Prepare for programs by reviewing curriculum, training materials, and instructor resources
  • Participate in Snapology training sessions and staff meetings as required
  • Communicate professionally with parents regarding programs and student experiences

Qualifications:
  • Criminal and Child Clearances must be current
  • 2 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
  • Education degree or teaching experience recommended, teachers, pursuing a degree in education will also be considered for this position
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis

Programs:
  • Weekday after-school and/or evening classes
  • Weekend workshops and/or birthday parties
  • Summer camps
  • Special events, holiday and break workshops

This position is part-time. Depending on candidate availability and the time of year, AI & Coding Instructor typically work between 6-30 hours per week.
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
