AGS Tech organization is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally talented, dependable, customer-obsessed, and self-motivated individual who will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of AGS Tech. This is a great opportunity to join a stellar administrative team with a variety of responsibilities for you to grow and further your professional career.
Key job responsibilities
Meeting support
Complete and file expense reports
Plan logistics for meetings and events of various sizes
Coordinate EA functions
Provide back-up calendaring support
Collaborate with departmental Executive Assistant (EA) peers
Special projects as assigned
Create and maintain team wikis

The AGS Tech organization is part of AWS Global Sales and supports Amazon's sales initiatives through strategic communications and engagement

The team's mission is to create and deliver accurate, effective messaging to inform, celebrate, and engage audiences while ensuring employees have the information needed for success. The AGS Tech Org supports work across four key areas: Internal Communications (multi-channel strategies, organizational messaging, business updates, and program communications), Culture Communications (employee stories, recognition programs, cultural observances, and community initiatives), External Communications (stakeholder engagement), and Event Communications (organizational event management). The organization operates on four strategic pillars-Industries, Segments, CSSI (Customer Solutions and Services Integration), and Startups-with a focus on customer obsession, builder culture, rapid prototyping, and AI adoption.
This role will be in-office 5x a week in New York City
Key job responsibilities
Manage document repository, Wikis, SharePoint sites, email lists, and supply ordering
Maintain schedules, plan events, coordinate meetings, and trainings
Manage expense reports
Run work-related errands as needed
Meeting support to include: printing, attendee tracking, security requests
Provide limited partner support
High school or equivalent
2+ years of professional or military experience
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
Are 18 years of age or older
Preferred qualifications
Experience with calendar management
Impeccable attention to detail
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Must be self-driven
