What does an agriculture intern do?

An Agriculture Intern typically assists with various tasks on a farm, research facility, or agricultural business to gain hands-on experience in the field. Their responsibilities may include planting, cultivating, harvesting crops, monitoring plant or animal health, collecting data, and supporting research projects. Interns often work under the supervision of experienced professionals, learning about sustainable practices, agribusiness operations, and the latest agricultural technologies. This experience is valuable for students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in agriculture.

Strong work ethic, adaptability, and effective communication skills help interns collaborate with teams and learn quickly on the job. These skills and qualities are crucial for gaining practical experience, contributing to farm operations, and preparing for a successful career in agriculture.
