About J & B Tractor Co Inc:

J & B Tractor Co Inc is a premier, authorized New Holland and Kubota dealership serving East Central Georgia with locations in Waynesboro and Augusta. We are seeking an experienced Diesel / Ag Machinery Service Technician to join our team, delivering high-quality shop and field service repairs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs on New Holland, Kubota, and competitive agricultural machinery.
  • Troubleshoot complex onboard electronics, including CAN-BUS networks.
  • Conduct engine overhauls, routine maintenance, and component replacements.
  • Drive company field service vehicles to client sites for emergency and scheduled repairs.
  • Maintain complete service records and deliver professional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Required: 5+ years of hands-on experience in agricultural equipment, farm machinery, or dealership service operations.
  • Required: Solid understanding of hydraulic pressure testing and electrical system diagnostics.
  • Required: Proficiency in using computer-based diagnostic software.
  • Required: Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening.
  • Preferred: Active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
