A growing machinery manufacturing company in the Bay Area is looking for a hands-on Senior HR Manager to lead its HR function and report directly to the CEO.

What You'll Do

  • Own HR decision-making, from employee relations and investigations to policy and compliance
  • Rebuild performance management into a more objective, structured process
  • Design and personally deliver training programs for managers and supervisors
  • Build a formal compensation structure and partner on benefits strategy
  • Lead workers' comp and leave case management
  • Oversee an HR generalist and recruiter

What You Bring

  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in HR management
  • Manufacturing or industrial background with hourly, multi-shift workforce experience
  • Strong knowledge of California employment law
  • Track record building or rebuilding an HR function, not just running an existing one
