A privately owned, employee-held advisory firm is looking for a Utility Billing Analyst to join a growing, highly profitable team. What You'll Do

  • Analyze client cost data and build Excel models to identify savings opportunities, with a focus on utility and energy spend
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations for optimizing recurring expenses, including electric, gas, and water billing
  • Generate true-up reports and support the audit process, including vendor communications on utility rate or billing changes
  • Benchmark clients to spot data anomalies across utility accounts
  • Support third-party cost optimization and utility billing audit calculations
  • Identify overpayment or exemption opportunities within regulated cost categories, including utility tariffs and rate schedules
  • Interpret complex utility billing structures and rate schedules
  • Help build cost audit models for utility and energy accounts

What You Bring

  • Four-year degree
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, Billing Analyst, or similar, ideally with exposure to utility or construction or energy billing
  • Strong Excel skills; SQL, Salesforce, or Access experience a plus
  • Sharp analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
