Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate and resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.

  • Build and execute a strategic territory plan to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.

  • Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.

  • Use market/competitive and cross-functional insights to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.

  • Use territory data and trends to generate pull-through and lead customer engagements (virtual or in person).

  • Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders to solve complex issues across functions.

  • Provide real-time access support and partner with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) for a seamless customer experience.

  • Harness digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized outreach.


Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Experience (based on level) in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales with large, geographically dispersed teams within the last 5 years.

  • Demonstrated consistent high performance selling to large accounts/key customers.

  • Self-starter with analytic ability and ethical leadership/compliance focus.

  • Reside within the territory (or within 50 miles of the border); travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license; ability to drive and/or fly.


Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.

  • Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or HCP calling.


Other:

  • Driving is an essential function; must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

  • Field roles with dedicated training: initial training/home study up to 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week.
