Work Environment

This position is located within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, equipped with advanced therapy tools and technology such as therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation units, and balance training equipment. You will work directly with a supportive interdisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical doctors, fostering a collaborative environment focused on comprehensive patient care. The work setting is onsite, ensuring personalized one-on-one therapy in a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical capabilities and limitations using standardized testing and observation to inform individualized treatment strategies.
  • Develop customized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals, utilizing a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
  • Implement hands-on treatment techniques, such as myofascial release, joint mobilization, and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery and relieve pain.
  • Provide continuous education on injury prevention and health maintenance to empower patients with the knowledge needed for sustained recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and modalities as needed to optimize recovery and achieve full functionality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with state regulations and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to create a holistic treatment plan that addresses both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse client base includes individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes sustaining sports-related injuries, and adults managing chronic conditions such as arthritis and lower back pain. Each patient presents unique challenges, and your personalized approach will be vital in guiding them through their rehabilitation journey towards recovery and improved health.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
  • Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is required.
  • Proficient knowledge of therapeutic techniques and keen analytical skills to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) for maintaining patient documentation.
