Work Environment

The work setting at Agile Motion Therapy is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Carson City, Nevada. Here, you will work in a well-equipped facility featuring advanced therapeutic tools and technologies designed to enhance the rehabilitation process. The center operates during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a stable and manageable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient’s physical condition and functional capabilities through comprehensive assessments.
• Create personalized treatment plans that are tailored to address the specific needs and goals of each individual.
• Implement hands-on therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to alleviate pain and promote recovery.
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy appropriately as part of the treatment regimen.
• Educate patients about proper body mechanics, posture, and self-care techniques to prevent future injuries, empowering them to take charge of their health.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on real-time outcomes and feedback.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all therapy interventions and patient interactions to comply with regulatory standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Agile Motion Therapy, we cater to a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, those suffering from chronic pain, and clients with neurological conditions or injuries. Our specialties encompass a range of issues such as back and neck pain, joint pain due to osteoarthritis, tendonitis, post-surgical rehabilitation, and balance disorders. We pride ourselves on creating inclusive and accessible treatment plans that encourage all patients to engage actively in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Current board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, with a focus on developing expertise in treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Proficiency in evidence-based physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess and develop treatment strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

Although the minimum required experience is one year, we highly value candidates with additional clinical experience and advanced training in specialized techniques such as dry needling, Kinesio taping, or aquatic therapy. Experience in a multidisciplinary team setting or a focus on geriatric populations would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Agile Motion Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
