Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking an Agile Coach for a top Global Logistics & Transportation leader in Warren, NJ.
This role is a strategic driver for the adoption, maturity, and scaling of Agile and DevOps practices across a massive global IT infrastructure. The Agile Coach will partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Program Managers to dismantle traditional Waterfall methodologies and implement high-performing, value-driven delivery frameworks. This is an international leadership position, requiring a seasoned professional capable of mentoring offshore teams across multiple continents and promoting a unified DevOps culture.
Job Responsibilities
  • Methodology Transformation: Lead the organization-wide transition from Waterfall to Agile; coach global teams on Agile values, principles, and high-velocity best practices.
  • Framework Implementation: Support and guide teams through the expert application of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Nexus, LeSS, and SAFe frameworks.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the PMO and program leadership to align Agile planning, execution, and reporting with global business objectives.
  • Curriculum Design & Training: Deliver interactive Agile workshops and training sessions utilizing Liberating Structures, Agile games, and modern interactive techniques.
  • DevOps Advocacy: Promote a robust DevOps culture, strengthening the collaboration between development and operations to streamline the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate Agile ceremonies and lead retrospectives to drive measurable, long-term continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Global Team Mentorship: Provide functional guidance to offshore delivery teams, ensuring consistency in Agile maturity across international borders.

Requirements
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • At least one recognized professional Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist) is REQUIRED.
Experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience working on large-scale IT projects.
  • Minimum of 2 years of formal Agile Coaching experience is REQUIRED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master is REQUIRED.
  • Proven track record supporting large, complex, and offshore delivery teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Scaled Agile (LeSS, Nexus, or SAFe) and DevOps practices.
Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and technical excellence practices (TDD, BDD, Automated Testing).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional command of English (written and verbal) for international stakeholder management.
  • High proficiency in leadership, team building, and influencing change without direct authority.
