Job description

QUALITY ENGINEER – AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING

Pay rate is Flexible based on your experience 

An aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality processes, documentation, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.

This opportunity is open to junior-level candidates who have relevant education or hands-on manufacturing quality experience. Training may be provided for a motivated candidate with a solid quality or engineering foundation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with First Article Inspection Reports and quality documentation
• Review drawings, specifications, and inspection results
• Support nonconformance investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Work with production and engineering to resolve quality issues
• Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement projects
• Maintain accurate quality records and reports
• Support compliance with aerospace quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Quality engineering, quality assurance, inspection, or manufacturing engineering experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand basic GD&T
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred

Experience with AS9100, AS9102, FAIRs, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Gauge R&R, control plans, or corrective-action methods is helpful but not required in every area.

Candidates from aerospace, automotive, medical device, precision manufacturing, or other regulated manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.

Due to ITAR requirements, candidates must qualify as a U.S. person, including a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by applicable regulations.
