Job Description:
Position Overview
  • The Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master is a seasoned agile practitioner who leads a global Team to design, develop, test, and deliver an AI based cash flow forecasting solution.
  • This role works closely with leaders, stakeholders, and core project team members to prioritize the backlog, manage dependencies, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement through metrics analysis and optimization.
  • The scope of this position includes deploying multiple waves in an agile release cycle on our existing platforms in addition to data interfaces to other systems and reporting dashboards.

Position Requirements
  • 6+ years of senior project management, with a minimum of 2+ years working in an agile product release environment.
  • Highly preferred working experience within a Financial and/or Accounting organization.
  • Experience in technology platforms related to accounting or financial forecasting, and knowledge of applications like SAP or JDE is preferred.
  • Highly preferred working experience delivering AI based technology solutions.
  • Experienced Agile Coach who can not only operate within a global environment but be able to coach and bring in best practices in running Agile Teams.

Responsibilities
  • Liaison with stakeholders such as Business Partner, Business Analyst, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Coordinate with Business Partners to manage delivery of functional and technical requirement documents, conduct agile design workshops and development iterations, plan and track user acceptance testing, and cutover planning.
  • Manages the assigned project to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and scope.
  • Manage a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project.
  • Ensures the business team is providing timely inputs and escalates appropriately.
  • Manage change requests and coordinate with the Program Manager for further action.
  • Coordinate with business and vendors for the seamless execution of various workstreams.
  • Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks.
  • Report and escalate risks to the management, as needed.
  • Prepare project status reports in coordination with the other PMO members.
  • Plan and run Agile Ceremonies as applicable - Daily standup, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demo and Sprint Retrospective meetings for the team.
  • Removes any distractions to the team that can hinder sprint progress.
  • Makes sure that the team follows agile practices and rules while working
  • Collaborates with other PMO members to improve the governance efficiency
  • Prepare project status reports in coordination with the other PMO members.
  • Demonstrated experience driving projects from initiation through closure.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal customers.
  • Experience in establishing and following controls to manage scope change and reporting project schedule/budget performance.

Qualifications
Must haves
  • 4 - 6 years of project/program management work experience
  • 2 - 3 years of working experience in an Agile Product Based environment

Preferred
  • ACP, SCRUM, PMP, Certifications or equivalent project management field of study
  • Experience managing agile projects utilizing Jira.
  • BS in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related degree that provide foundational skills that foster success in managing projects.
