Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager II to lead cross-functional initiatives within our dynamic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization. This role is responsible for driving medium to large-scale projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements.

As a level II project manager, you will work across Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, Creative, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution. You'll bring structure, visibility, and accountability to projects ranging from packaging development and product launches to retail campaigns and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Own end-to-end project management for mid-to-high complexity initiatives in Packaging, Innovation, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across departments to align project objectives, roles, and timelines.

Timeline & Budget Management: Develop project plans, track milestones, manage budgets, and adjust timelines as needed to meet changing priorities.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the central point of contact for project updates, status reporting, risk identification, and issue resolution.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate blockers as appropriate.

Process Optimization: Support the evolution and adoption of project management best practices, tools, and templates to drive operational efficiency.

Documentation & Compliance: Ensure project documentation is up-to-date and accurate, and that all deliverables meet CPG regulatory and quality standards.

Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and suppliers to meet deliverables, budgets, and timelines.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of project management experience, ideally in the CPG, manufacturing, or retail industry.

Proven track record managing cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.

Strong understanding of CPG lifecycle processes, including packaging, product development, marketing, and supply chain.

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.

Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field, required.

PMP or similar certification a plus.

Experience managing projects involving external manufacturing partners, co-packers, or creative agencies, preferred.

Familiarity with packaging artwork development and regulatory review processes, preferred.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, preferred.

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, preferred.

Hours, Location and Pay:

We offer a competitive base pay rate and benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours Monday - Friday at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility. Additional hours as needed to support business needs.

Physical and Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
