As a Program Manager II within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.
We are seeking a skilled Program Manager II to support C&IB's Technology Execution function within the President's CIO Group Business Management team. This role serves as a trusted partner to the CIO and senior leadership team with a focus on executive support, organizational effectiveness, strategic planning, reporting, operational oversight, leadership team coordination, and program execution. This position functions as a broad business management and chief of staff-style role, providing leadership support across a wide range of priorities, initiatives, and organizational activities.
The role involves close partnership with senior technology and business leaders, including CIO-level stakeholders, to provide executive visibility, leadership support, operational coordination, and strategic execution across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, excels at presenting complex information clearly, demonstrates strong coaching and influencing skills, and brings a strong grasp of program management fundamentals, organizational leadership, and executive-level communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain executive-level reporting, strategic updates, and leadership materials to keep key stakeholders informed on organizational priorities, progress, risks, and challenges.
Serve as a strategic partner to the CIO and senior leadership team, supporting a broad range of business management, operational, and organizational initiatives.
Coordinate and facilitate leadership team activities, rhythms, planning sessions, and key organizational deliverables.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to senior leadership teams to drive alignment, organizational effectiveness, and execution of priorities.
Drive cross-functional initiatives and work broadly across technology and business teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Partner with technology directors, business leads, and senior stakeholders to align initiatives with organizational goals and business outcomes.
Develop, analyze, and deliver executive reporting, dashboards, presentations, and insights that support decision-making across the organization.
Monitor resource allocation, staffing, and cost forecasts across multiple initiatives and delivery efforts.
Analyze financials, program metrics, organizational data, and operational performance indicators to support forecasting and strategic decision-making.
Leverage enterprise reporting dashboards and KPI tracking to support executive and CIO-level readouts.
Understand and drive Agile Ways of Working enhancements across multiple crews and wings supporting strategic initiatives.
Support and coordinate key CIO deliverables and leadership commitments that may span multiple teams, functions, and bodies of work.
Drive cross-functional communication and deliver clear, high-quality presentations to executive leadership.
Ensure adherence to governance standards, delivery frameworks, and organizational best practices while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Act as a versatile business management resource, providing support across strategic programs, operational activities, executive reporting, organizational planning, and leadership team needs.
Qualifications:
Program and/or Project Management experience within technology, operations, business management, or enterprise environments.
Experience supporting CIOs, senior technology executives, or leadership teams in a business management, chief of staff, program management, or operational leadership capacity.
Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Excellent presentation, communication, executive reporting, and leadership support skills.
Strong analytical abilities with comfort working with financials, resource data, organizational metrics, and executive reporting.
Demonstrated ability to manage scope, resources, budgets, schedules, and multi-team coordination while balancing shifting executive priorities.
Strong understanding of Agile Ways of Working (Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe).
Experience creating executive-level dashboards, presentations, reporting packages, and leadership communications.
Proven ability to operate as a highly adaptable contributor across strategic, operational, organizational, and leadership support activities.
