An Agile Program Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing multiple Agile teams and ensuring that projects align with organizational goals and deliver value efficiently. They coordinate cross-team efforts, manage dependencies, and facilitate communication between stakeholders to keep projects on track. Agile Program Managers also help remove obstacles, support team growth, and promote Agile best practices across the organization. Their role is crucial in scaling Agile methodologies and delivering complex, multi-team projects successfully.

How does an Agile Program Manager typically collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success?

  • Oversee quality management activities and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of program documentation, reports, and contractual deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities across USSOCOM Headquarters, Components, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and external stakeholders to ensure mission alignment and operational effectiveness.
  • Exercise decision-making authority on behalf of the contractor organization in response to Government issues, concerns, operational requirements, and emerging mission needs.
  • Support travel requirements to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of enterprise KM operations and stakeholder engagement activities.

Clearance Requirement
