They operate commercial trucks, often dump trucks or trailers, to load, haul, and unload materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a commercial driver's license (CDL), adherence to safety regulations, and knowledge of proper vehicle maintenance. What does an aggregate driver do?

A typical day for an Aggregate Driver involves performing pre-trip vehicle inspections, loading aggregates like sand, gravel, or crushed stone at quarries or plants, and safely delivering them to construction sites or clients. Drivers communicate closely with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate schedules, adapt to changing job requirements, and ensure accurate deliveries. Many aggregate drivers make multiple deliveries per day and may need to navigate a variety of job site conditions. Attention to safety procedures and proper documentation are ongoing priorities. To thrive as an Aggregate Driver, you need a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), good driving record, and experience handling large vehicles such as dump trucks or cement mixers. Familiarity with GPS navigation, vehicle inspection protocols, and electronic logging devices is important for efficient and safe transport. Job description

Truck Driver (Belly Dump / Heavy Hauling/ Hotshot F450) Class A CDL-driver

At Statewide, we're not just building roads — we're shaping the future of construction. As a leading sitework company, we specialize in excavating, grading, and hauling materials to help build the foundation of our community's infrastructure. Our team thrives on challenge, precision, and hands-on work — whether it's large-scale construction projects or heavy hauling. And right now, we're looking to add an experienced Aggregate Truck Driver to our growing team.

What You'll Do:

  • Safely haul aggregate materials, jobsite supplies or tools, diesel, and heavy equipment to and from job sites using well-maintained equipment.
  • Operate belly dump trucks for sitework, construction, and earth-moving projects.
  • Operate paver or lowboy for sitework, construction, and earth-moving projects.
  • Operate goosneck or fuel trailer for sitework, construction, and earth-moving projects.
  • Learn and grow your skillset in heavy hauling (training provided if you don't have heavy hauling experience).
  • Occasionally run over-the-road (OTR) loads as needed.
  • Perform daily routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the team to deliver materials on time, contributing to the overall success of the project.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience operating belly dump or End Dump trucks.
  • Heavy hauling experience is a plus, but we'll provide training for the right candidate.
  • Clean driving record and a valid CDL (Class A).
  • Ability to perform basic equipment inspections and handle minor maintenance.
  • Mechanically inclined a plus!
  • Strong work ethic and dependability; must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in the sitework industry.
  • Comfortable with occasional overnight travel for OTR loads.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay: 850-1500 weekly TBD
  • Bi-weekly direct deposit
  • Newer, Well-Maintained Equipment: We take pride in operating the best tools for the job.
  • Benefits: 100% company-paid vision and dental after 90 days, and health insurance after 90 days.
  • Paid Time Off: Up to 13 days of PTO + 5 paid holidays annually.
  • Annual Tithing Match — company-sponsored giving to make a difference in the community.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 7 AM – 4 PM
  • Every Other Saturday: 8 AM – 2 PM
  • Home Daily with occasional overnight OTR loads.

At SAS, we believe in teamwork, integrity, and quality. As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of work-life balance and the value each team member brings. You're more than just a driver; you're a vital part of our success. Whether you're hauling aggregate, navigating a new route, or learning a new skill, we provide the support and training you need to succeed. We run an organized operation and we take care of our people. You'll have steady work, clear expectations, and a team that respects skilled, dependable team members. If you take pride in your work and take ownership, you'll have room to grow here.
