The Association of Former Students engages and inspires the Aggie Network for Texas A&M University in perpetuating the Aggie Spirit. Through engagement programs, travel experiences, fundraising initiatives, and alumni services, we strengthen connections among former students, current students, faculty, staff, and friends of Texas A&M.
Our newest colleague will join the Former Student Engagement team in supporting and growing the Traveling Aggies program. This role serves as a key connection point between travelers and The Association, creating meaningful opportunities for former student engagement through exceptional travel experiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a passion for building lifelong relationships within the Aggie Network.

Through personalized customer service, strategic marketing efforts, donor engagement and travel program support, you will help bring the Aggie Network to life around the globe while advancing The Association's mission and fundraising efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Coordinate marketing and promotional aspects of the Traveling Aggies program.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Traveling Aggies to market and promote the Travel Program.
- Serve as an Association host and representative on numerous domestic and international travel programs annually.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travelers, prospective travelers and tour operators.
- Provide excellent customer service through multiple touch points between pre-booking to post-trip with personal communications to prospective and actual travelers.
- Work with Development team to identify potential donors.
- Promote the Endowed Century Club, Century Club, Aggie Ring Scholarship Program and capital projects to travelers.
- Support travel program operations, communications and administrative processes.
- Assist with yearly trip selection and program marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to promote travel opportunities through digital and print channels.
- Contribute to Former Student Engagement events and Association-wide initiatives.
- Represent The Association and the Aggie Network with professionalism and integrity.
- Serve as an ambassador for the Traveling Aggies program and The Association.
ROUTINE DUTIES
- Coordinate day-to-day marketing and promotional activities for the Traveling Aggies program.
- Assist visitors, travelers and Association staff with travel information, reservations, modifications, cancellations and general inquiries.
- Respond to telephone, email and online inquiries regarding travel programs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip administrative duties, including documentation, data entry, filing, scanning and accounting-related support.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Traveling Aggies and Director of Former Student Engagement to develop travel programs.
- Support daily and monthly travel program marketing efforts through social media, newsletters, emails and other communications.
- Assist with the development and production of the annual Travel Guide.
- Promote the programs and events of the Travel Program and The Association.
- Support engagement events including away games, bowl games, Class Reunions, Coach's Nights, Constituent Network activities, Young Alumni events, and similar programs.
- Provide on-site support for Board and Leadership Council meetings and Association events.
- Participate in internal event teams, task committees, and departmental initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EMPLOYEES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FORMER STUDENTS
- Actively contribute toward achieving organizational culture, engagement and fundraising goals.
- Participate in Association-wide activities including Aggie Muster, Aggie Ring Day, Reunions, Distinguished Alumni Gala, Pass It Back Day, All-Aggie Hullabaloo, Board Meetings, Leadership Council Meetings and other organizational initiatives.
- Provide on-site support for Association functions and events.
- Represent The Association at external events as assigned.
- Serve as an ambassador by meeting Team Expectations and strengthening relationships with former students, current students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Texas A&M University.
- Support The Association's fundraising, branding and communication initiatives.
- Exemplify The Association's core values and commitment to service excellence.
Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to operate a keyboard, telephone, computer and standard office equipment.
- Frequent computer use required.
- Ability to perform occasional mailing and document preparation tasks.
- Ability to lift, move and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Physically capable of domestic and international travel, including extended periods away from home.
- Must be able to meet entry, visa, health and vaccination requirements for travel destinations, as required.

EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Two to four years of experience in an administrative, event management, travel, hospitality or related professional environment.
- Domestic and international travel experience.
- General understanding of the travel industry.
- Experience providing exceptional customer service and managing client relationships.
- Experience supporting marketing, communications, events or engagement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Preferred:
- Three to five years of experience in an administrative, event management, travel or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of the travel industry and traveler experience management.

EDUCATION
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
