Agentforce information

What is an Agentforce?

Agentforce typically refers to a team or network of agents working together within an organization, often in industries like insurance or real estate. These agents collaborate to provide services, support clients, and achieve business goals. The term can also refer to specific platforms or agencies that coordinate independent agents for greater efficiency and reach. The structure and function of an Agentforce may vary depending on the company and industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Agentforce?

To excel as an insurance agent, you need strong sales acumen, product knowledge, and typically a relevant state insurance license. Familiarity with CRM software, quoting platforms, and digital communication tools is important for managing clients and sales pipelines. Outstanding interpersonal skills, persistence, and active listening help build trust and long-term relationships with clients. These skills are crucial for meeting sales targets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering tailored solutions in a competitive insurance market.

What are some common challenges faced by Agentforce professionals when managing multiple client accounts simultaneously?

Agentforce professionals often manage several client accounts at once, which can present challenges such as balancing competing priorities, meeting diverse client expectations, and staying organized amid shifting demands. Effective time management and clear communication are essential to ensure that each client receives timely updates and quality service. Utilizing CRM tools and regularly collaborating with team members can help streamline workflows and prevent important tasks from falling through the cracks.

Job description

About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we’re looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce’s core values at the heart of it all.

About the Role

The Embedded Technical Architect is a technical architect who is comfortable being onsite with strategic customers, getting hands‑on‑keyboard to enable new capabilities, building working prototypes, and expanding the technical use, business value, and long‑term adoption of Salesforce solutions.

We are seeking highly experienced, hands‑on Technical Architects to be the driver of day‑to‑day adoption, consumption and usage of Salesforce products. This role is a hybrid of a pre‑sales consultant and a long‑term technical advisor, requiring the Architect to be physically embedded (2+ days/week) with their aligned strategic customers in the region. You will partner closely with your Account SE and AE to drive a long‑term strategy for your assigned account(s).

This Architect’s primary mission is to identify and deliver increased customer usage by designing, coding, and configuring high‑fidelity, data‑driven and agentic solutions that showcase the value of the Salesforce platform, with a deep focus on Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce (AI) and Data Cloud. Additionally, you will act as a trusted advisor to ensure successful adoption of features and capabilities and drive consumption growth.

Key Responsibilities Technical Engagement & Prototyping
  • Onsite Technical Discovery: Run discovery and workshops with business users, customer architects and development teams to identify new use cases, systems, data flows, and business bottlenecks.
  • Design & Deliver POCs: Own the end‑to‑end process of any Proof of Concept (POC) needed. This is a hands‑on, configuration and coding role where you will build functional slices of the final solution using Apex, LWC, and Flow.
  • Customer Education: Ensure consistent awareness and education of Salesforce capabilities for the customer. Build confidence and credibility throughout IT and business teams. Regular education on new features and new acquisitions.
Customer Adoption & Health
  • Customer Health Checks + Education: Partner to conduct quarterly health checks and regular cadences to surface areas of opportunity and recommend features or capabilities already licensed but not being used. Ensure customer awareness of new and/or underutilized features and how they can meet business needs.
  • Accelerate Adoption: Provide hands‑on support and education to the customer's team, prototyping new ideas, new features, new acquired technology, creating new flows, or turning on predictive, generative, and agentic capabilities to increase adoption and consumption.
Architecture & Strategy
  • Architect the Solution: Maintain a scalable, secure, and high‑performance multi‑cloud solution and review regularly with VPs of Engineering and CTOs.
  • Team Enablement & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute reusable POC assets, playbooks, and best practices to mentor team members and scale impact across the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of demonstrable solution/technical architecture experience in a demanding pre‑sales, consulting, or professional services role.
  • Architecture Acumen: Ability to design a complex data model, define a sharing/visibility strategy, and create a system‑level architecture for a complex enterprise.
  • Communication: Exceptional problem‑solving skills and comfort presenting complex technical narratives to both skeptical engineering teams and C‑level executives.
  • Availability: Ability to be onsite with your customer(s) 50‑60% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator, Certified Sales and/or Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce Specialist, Application Architect or System Architect certification, Agentforce Champion or above.
  • Experience with Salesforce Platform, Agentforce concepts and applying AI in customer service or engagement scenarios. Experience implementing or supporting Data360 (Data Cloud).
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Deep understanding of Agentic standards (MCP, A2A).
  • Deep expertise in a core Salesforce Cloud (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Marketing Cloud).
Benefits

Benefits include time off programs, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program. Compensation is based on location and experience and may include incentive, equity, and benefits.
