We are currently looking for a Referral Development Representative! The Referral Development Representative is responsible for implementing Parkside's referral development strategy through proactive relationship-building, education, and outreach to existing and prospective referral partners. Reporting to the Director of Referral Development, this position serves as one of the hospital's primary ambassadors to physicians, pediatricians, hospitals, schools, community mental health agencies, tribal health systems, state agencies, and other organizations that serve children and adolescents experiencing mental health needs.The Referral Development Representative develops and maintains strong relationships with referral sources to increase awareness of Parkside's inpatient and outpatient programs, strengthen collaboration, and support continued growth in referral volume. This role requires regular travel throughout Parkside's service area to conduct in-person meetings, educational presentations, and outreach activities while serving as a trusted resource for referral partners and community stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as Brand Ambassador
  • Provide educational presentations regarding Parkside's services to healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, professional groups and others as required.
  • Represent Parkside at professional conferences, health fairs, networking events, and community meetings.

Cultivate Relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with existing referral partners to promote ongoing collaboration and referral growth.
  • Identify, research, and cultivate new referral sources throughout Oklahoma and surrounding service areas.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits with referral partners to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to increase collaboration and referrals.

Data Tracking & Analysis
  • Monitor referral trends and identify opportunities to expand referral relationships and market share.
  • Maintain detailed records of referral activities, contacts, follow-up actions, and outcomes using designated CRM and reporting systems.
  • Communicate referral partner feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Participate in referral strategy meetings and assist in preparing monthly referral development reports and performance metrics.

Professional Conduct
  • Relationship-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and passionate about improving access to youth mental healthcare.
  • Presents themselves in a professional manner and in compliance with all Parkside policies and procedures.
  • Maintain fit for duty and represent Parkside with professionalism and integrity.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Relations, Communications or related field preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of successful business development, healthcare marketing, physician relations, referral development, sales, or community relations experience.
  • Active driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events and professional meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
