Job description

The Ford Agency is actively seeking a professional and driven Business Development Manager to join a prestigious law firm in their NY or DC office. This individual will work closely with the white collar litigation and investigations attorneys to develop business development goals, initiatives, and strategies to generate new business and engage with existing clients. This is a great opportunity for a business development professional to move into a visible role and gain leadership experience. Candidates can be based in the NYC or DC areas.

Responsibilities Include:
• Collaborate with attorneys and leadership on business development plans and strategies
• Develop programs and initiatives to generate new business
• Oversee the full RFP and pitch process including developing client-centric pitches, managing the pipeline, and reporting on trends
• Identify prospective clients and new opportunities to engage with existing clients
• Manage submissions to Chambers and other award nominations and rankings
• Conduct market research on industry trends
• Create content collateral for the firm
• Train and mentor business development team members

Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field
• 3+ years of business development and/or marketing experience and experience supporting white collar and investigations strongly preferred
• 1+ years of experience mentoring a team strongly preferred
• Experience working at an AMLaw 100 Firm strongly preferred
• Professional communication skills and client service oriented personality
• Proficiency with CRM databases
• Proficiency in MS Office especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Compensation:
• $190K+

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
