Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
  • Monitor residents' responses to therapy and report progress to the supervising PT
  • Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal resident outcomes
