About This Role

Little Cub Academy is a family-owned child care center, now opened in the Mukwonago area. We are hiring teachers to join our team to help us create a warm and loving environment for the children we care for. Little Cub Academy strives to be a second home for our families. As a teacher for the past 12 years, I know the heart and hard work that goes into our days. Join a team who values you and knows your worth! Competitive wages, benefits, and a positive atmosphere! We are looking for a strong, hands-on, school age teacher for the summer! If interested, after summer, we will be opening more classrooms.


What You'll Do
  • Caring for our little ones
  • Helping children learn using the Experience Early Learning Curriculum (or create your own curriculum!)
  • Building relationship with parents and working together to best provide for our children
  • Creating a safe and clean environment in the classroom
  • Fostering independence by supporting children as they learn self-help skills

Requirements
  • Loving and caring
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Infant/child CPR
  • Must clear full background check
  • Must pass health screening
  • Childcare coursework- Intro to Childcare Profession & Skills and Strategies
  • Professional experience in an early childhood program

We are looking for someone who has experience planning age appropriate daily lessons for school age. Individual should have a strong understanding of this age group and be prepared to plan daily, fun, hands-on activities!
