Your Future Role:
Our retail cashiers are the face of our organization and can make or break the customer experience. This position quickly and accurately processes sales transactions, future orders and returns while engaging with our customers, ensuring they get not only what they wanted but want they need to succeed. This role serves both our in-person customers and customers calling the store providing both with the support necessary to assist the customer find what they are looking for or solve a problem. In addition, this role welcomes our customers upon their arrival and thanks them for their patronage when they leave.
Your Specific Job Responsibilities:
  • Upholds Moana Nursery's strict safety policies
  • Shows up on time ready work
  • Greets customers with a warm smile
  • Communicates with customers over the phone
  • Promptly responds to customer needs, requests for service or assistance
  • Communicates using radios to other Moana teammates
  • Uses computerized Point of Sale System to accurately itemize and total customer purchases
  • Receives payments and distributes change
  • Maintains a cash drawer
  • Helps customers navigate through the store and to the correct resource
  • Maintains a clean and organized work space
  • Participates in cleaning and organizing throughout the store
  • Learns as much as they can
  • Answers questions concerning price, sales, services and programs

Physical Requirements & Activity:
  • Applicant must be able to lift 25 lbs

Your Future Work Schedule:
Our retail stores are open 7 days a week and we are busiest on the weekend. We are looking for teammates that can work weekends and be flexible to accommodate the changing retail environment. Please make sure you list your availability on the application.
