NOW HIRING – Afternoon Janitor (Full Time)

Location: Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), Pittsburgh, PA
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Afternoon Shift, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Our services include airport janitorial and cleaning services, passenger and baggage screening, access control, aircraft cleaning and search, event security, and loss prevention solutions.

Position Summary

The Afternoon Janitor is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary areas throughout the airport facility during afternoon and evening operations. This role includes routine cleaning of offices, gate areas, stairways, jet bridges, and other assigned spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • General cleaning and disinfecting of offices

  • Sweeping and mopping floors

  • Dusting surfaces

  • Emptying trash receptacles

  • Cleaning jet bridges

  • Cleaning stairways

  • Maintaining cleanliness of gate areas


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift, carry, and/or hold 10–20 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum of 1 year of janitorial or related experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Reliable transportation required

  • Reliable phone number for contact

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (DOT or Non-DOT, as required)
