Work Schedule: WEEKDAY AFTERNOON/ WEEKEND MORNING AND AFTERNOON
 
POSITION  SUMMARY
 
Receive, store, and issue sales floor merchandise. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise and arrange merchandise displays to attract customers. May periodically take physical count of stock or check and mark merchandise.

aProvide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
aAnswer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise   selection.
aItemize and total customer merchandise selection at checkout counter, using cash register, and accept cash or charge card for purchases.
aTake inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or   replenished.
aPack customer purchases in bags or  cartons.
aStock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred   merchandise.
aReceive, open, unpack and issue sales floor  merchandise.
aClean display cases, shelves, and  aisles.
aCompare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are   correct.
aRequisition merchandise from supplier based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.
aTransport packages to customers'  vehicles.
aStamp, attach, or change price tags on merchandise, referring to price   list.
aDesign and set up advertising signs and displays of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
aLoad and unload delivery trucks.
aStock merchandise in accordance to store  sets.
aMaintain store and shelf conditions.
aClean cases, floors, parking lot, backroom, bathrooms, and loading and unloading   areas.
