Security Officer Afternoon Residential Patrol

As a Security Officer Afternoon Residential Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents and visitors. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community policies, assist with directing guests and vendors, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain professional communication with residents, property staff, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
