Job description

GRASS TURF INSTALLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Grass Turf Installer for a company based in Chesapeake, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your skills with a growing provider of highquality synthetic turf systems known for its handson training, supportive team environment.
Pay Rate 
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday
Start time is 7:00 AM, with 10-hour shifts typically ending between 5:00pm and 6:00pm
Grass Turf Installer Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install grass turf for projects (local parks and schools) using approved tools and techniques.
  • Cut, seam, and secure turf materials with accuracy to achieve clean, professional finishes.
  • Operate small machinery and hand tools safely, including compactors, cutters, and power tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures throughout each project.
  • Assist with material handling, layout planning, and project completion as part of a coordinated team.
Grass Turf Installer Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in landscaping, construction, or turn installation preferred but not required.
  • Ability to rad and follow installation instructions, measurements, and layout plans.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
