• A team of STEM-loving folks who spend our days transforming laboratory science into fun, interactive learning experiences for youth from  Pre-K to 6th grade.
• We believe in working smart and having a good time.
• We all wear many hats and we work collaboratively to get things done and ensure that our students and their families are thrilled by their learning experience.
 
 The Job:

It's different. We know it. We hope that's exciting to you!  We really have a great time with the kids, they love our programs!
You can work anywhere from 1 day to 5 days a week teaching a science workshops during the afternoon and/or weekends.
We provide ALL supplies, equipment and curriculum to teach the EASY, yet fun science classes. Most of our Jr. Scientists are in K-5th grade, you'll teach basic science concepts in a fun and engaging way.

 What will you do?

• You will drive  to a school, daycare or park and rec (we offer a mileage reimbursement plan)
• You will lead a one hour exciting, immersive and interactive science lesson (after a lot of paid training so that you feel totally comfortable in all ways)
 Pay:
Instructing $40-50/ per one hour class   (with set up and take down it averages about $25-$28 per hour)  
Most days you will work 1, maybe 2 programs per day.  A typical instructor will work 3-10 hours per week, depending on availability.
PS-we also loan you a cool lab coat to wear too! (you'll be a science rockstar)
