After School Program Director - NYS

About Us:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced After School Program Director to join our team and lead our program to continued success!

Responsibilities:

  • Program Oversight:
    • Develop and implement engaging and enriching after school programs that meet the needs and interests of diverse student populations.
    • Ensure programs align with NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations and guidelines for School Age Child Care (SACC) programs.
    • Oversee the daily operations of the program, including budgeting, scheduling, and staffing.
    • Continuously monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of qualified and dedicated staff.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional development.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, school administrators, and community partners.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure program support and sustainability.
