Synchronous Health is searching for a dedicated and licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team, specializing in providing telehealth services within school environments. This full-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while delivering crucial mental health support to students aged 8 and older. You will be instrumental in implementing comprehensive treatment plans for a variety of behavioral health conditions.

You will use a secure web platform for scheduling and documentation purposes, and our proprietary chat-bot provides additional support to participants at critical times. Ideal candidates will work from a designated quiet and private space, such as a home office or an outpatient office environment, as confidentiality and professionalism are paramount.

• Conduct interactive telehealth sessions with students, ensuring adherence to therapeutic best practices.
• Utilize state-specific telehealth regulations to maintain compliance and provide effective care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress and making necessary modifications.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with educators, parents, and other health professionals to provide holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Foster virtual relationships that promote trust and therapeutic engagement among participants.
• Leverage technology for tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing notes, and facilitating various web-based interventions.

You will primarily work with adolescents aged 8 and older, addressing a spectrum of behavioral health challenges. This includes fostering resilience in young individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other critical mental health issues. By focusing on this demographic, you will play an exceptional role in shaping the future well-being of students during pivotal developmental years.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical social work, preferably in settings involving adolescents.
• Solid understanding of telehealth infrastructure and state regulations governing teletherapy.
• Proficiency with virtual meeting tools and online therapeutic resources.

• Experience working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to support diverse treatment modalities.
• Prior experience engaging with adolescents and their families in a virtual setting.
• Strong skills in using technological tools to enhance patient care and clinical workflows.
