African Caregivers LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to a 22-year-old young woman with autism.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support in the home and community.
  • Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement.
  • Safely transport the client to doctor's appointments, therapy appointments, and community activities.
  • Encourage independence and support the development of daily living and social skills.
  • Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Female caregiver strongly preferred based on the client's care needs and preferences.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable personal vehicle (required).

  • Clean driving record.
  • Comfortable transporting the client to appointments and community activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
