Description
    Delivering training programs and courses to Marines and their staffs
  • Providing instruction on Marine Corps Program of Record (POR) systems and operational tactics
  • Conducting hands-on training and assessments
  • Teaching Marines how to employ the COC to support MAGTF battle rhythm events, including orders briefs, update briefs, and watchfloor operations
  • Reinforcing doctrine, T&R standards, and Marine Corps Orders during instruction
  • Guiding Marines through practical application exercises replicating a fully functioning COC environment
  • Training students on information management within the COC (task trackers, logs, reports, overlays, and digital products)
  • Ensuring instruction aligns with current fleet requirements and integrates C2PC/JTCW, TCS, Agile Client, Agile Server, MANGL, AFATDS, GCCS, COC OS software, hardware, and C2 systems and applications
  • Evaluating student performance through written exams, hands-on tests, and scenario-driven assessments
  • Providing remediation and mentorship for students requiring additional support
  • Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) on COC system setup, employment, and troubleshooting
  • Maintaining baseline knowledge of supporting systems (e.g., GCCS-J/M, digital chat, SharePoint/O365 integration)
  • Validating that training systems replicate operational configurations used in the fleet

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or formal DoD training
  • Successful completion of a military or commercial basic instructor course such as Marine Corps Center for Learning and Faculty Development (CLFD), Facilitating Learning Experience Course (FLEX), CLFD Designing Learning Experience Course (DLEX), Basic Instructor Course (BIC), a college certification course, or an equivalent alternative course
  • 10 or more years of experience providing formal Period of Instructions (POIs) and supporting COC C2 training events
  • Five (5) or more years of experience providing POI on COC Communications suites and COC C2 software, hardware, systems, and applications
  • Demonstrated experience employing the COC to support MAGTF battle rhythm events
  • In-depth knowledge of order briefs, update briefs, and watchfloor operations
  • Direct experience creating and running practical application exercises that replicate a COC environment
  • Direct experience with task trackers, logs, reports, overlays, and digital products
  • Demonstrated experience with the following systems: C2PC/JTCW, TCS, Agile Client, Agile Server, MANGL, AFATDS, GCCS, COC OS software, hardware, C2 systems and applications, and COC Communications equipment
  • Experience analyzing the effectiveness of training programs and operational plans
  • Experience with Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and Education (ISD/SAT-E) methodologies
  • Understanding of Marine Corps Service Level Training Exercise Program (SLTE-P) standards and objectives
  • Demonstrated experience with O365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possess a current DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
  • Five (5) or more years of experience supporting MAGTF Operations Center Training Team (MOCTT) and/or MAGTF Integrated Systems Training Centers (MISTCs)
  • Demonstrated experience creating and instructing POIs on the following systems: C2PC/JTCW, TCS, Agile Client, Agile Server, MANGL, AFATDS, GCCS, COC OS software, hardware, and C2 systems and applications
  • Active-duty USMC experience with USMC C2 systems and equipment
  • Possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Possess a current Microsoft Office Specialist Master certification
