Job description

AirSculpt® is a next-generation body contouring treatment designed to optimize both comfort and precision, available exclusively at AirSculpt offices. This minimally invasive procedure removes unwanted fat, tightens skin, and can transfer fat to enhance other areas, sculpting targeted areas of the body with precise results and minimal downtime. More than 75,000 cases have been performed in AirSculpt's 30+ premium locations throughout the United States and Canada.

Practice Manager Responsibilities:

Practice Operations

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring clinical and administrative functions run efficiently and to AirSculpt standards.
  • Own scheduling accuracy across providers, rooms, and staff — proactively resolving conflicts, maintaining real-time visibility, and ensuring the schedule reflects actual capacity.
  • Maintain legal and accreditation compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including AAAHC, JCAHO, and AAAASF standards.
  • Accomplish center operations by communicating, developing, and managing AirSculpt's values, policies, and procedures.
  • Support and uphold policies, procedures, patient safety objectives, quality improvement standards, infection control protocols, and environmental standards.
  • Oversee inventory management and purchasing for clinical and non-clinical supplies, balancing cost control with uninterrupted patient care.
  • Lead operational oversight of clinical workflows to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to AirSculpt clinical protocols.
  • Monitor and manage location-level KPIs — including case volume, revenue performance, labor utilization, and operational expenses — to support center profitability and growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Aesthetics Management System adoption and compliance, driving staff proficiency and identifying workflow improvements.

Team Leadership & Staff Retention

  • Directly lead and develop front desk coordinators and administrative staff; partner closely with nursing leadership on clinical team matters.
  • Be a cultural role model — the tone you set shapes the experience for both patients and staff. We expect you to create an environment where people want to show up and do their best work.
  • Proactively identify retention risks, address employee relations issues in partnership with Human Resources, and escalate concerns before they become problems.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing training for all staff on Aesthetics Pro workflows, practice protocols, and AirSculpt standards.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance check-ins, and annual reviews for direct reports, with a focus on development and accountability.

Patient Experience

  • Own the patient experience from first contact through post-procedure follow-up — our patients are paying for a luxury experience and expect nothing less.
  • Serve as the escalation point for patient concerns, resolving issues with professionalism, urgency, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Oversee before/after photo documentation workflows to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality across all providers.
  • Partner with clinical leads to identify and close experience gaps at key patient touchpoints.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Manage the location-level budget including labor, supplies, and operational expenditures — you are accountable for the financial health of your practice.
  • Review and approve timekeeping, schedule adjustments, and PTO for direct reports.
  • Ensure documentation completeness in Aesthetics Pro prior to case closure to support billing accuracy.
  • Prepare and present location performance updates at Director of Operations cadence calls — come with data, insights, and a point of view.
  • May be assigned additional duties or ad hoc projects as the business evolves.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of management experience in a high-volume, or fast-growth environment — luxury retail, plastic surgery, or medical spa experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while managing competing operational priorities.
  • Financial acumen — you can read a P&L, manage a budget, and connect operational decisions to business outcomes.
  • Proficiency with EMR or practice management platforms; experience with Aesthetics Pro or similar systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable interpreting operational metrics and translating them into clear action plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the presence and polish to represent AirSculpt to patients, staff, and leadership.
  • Weekend availability (Saturdays and/or Sundays as required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree.
  • Experience supporting EMR or technology platform rollouts.
  • Background in HIPAA compliance and healthcare documentation standards.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish — a meaningful advantage in many of our markets.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit or stand intermittently for the duration of a shift (8-12 hours)
  • Push/pull/lift up to 25 pounds

Benefits & Perks:

  • Insurance: Competitive choices for health, dental and vision coverage; 1x base salary in life insurance, plus Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
