Lead Ceramist

Location: Montana (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

A growing dental laboratory is seeking an experienced Lead Ceramist to support high-end cosmetic and complex restorative cases. This role is ideal for a senior ceramist with a strong aesthetic focus who enjoys hands-on work while contributing to team development and long-term lab growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-level porcelain layering on multiple restorative materials
  • Focus on anterior cosmetic cases, smile design, and esthetic restorations
  • Support full-mouth reconstructions, with strong understanding of morphology and function
  • Collaborate closely with doctors to achieve optimal esthetic outcomes
  • Share knowledge and help train other technicians as the lab grows
  • Maintain consistent quality standards in a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Ceramist in a dental laboratory
  • Strong expertise in porcelain layering and cosmetic anterior restorations
  • Solid understanding of esthetics, morphology, and full-mouth cases
  • Exposure to cosmetic dentistry principles (AACD-style approach is a plus)
  • Team-oriented mindset with interest in growing alongside the lab

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000 – $100,000, depending on experience and skill set
  • Compensation is flexible and may increase based on technical scope, case complexity, and contribution to training or lab growth, along with attractive incentives, performance bonuses, and potential profit sharing
