Now Hiring: Quality Control Inspector in LongmontWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. In this role, you will perform visual and functional inspections of components and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, utilize precision measurement equipment, and follow established procedures to help maintain the highest level of product quality in a cleanroom setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform visual and functional inspections of components and medical devices throughout the manufacturing process
- Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, measuring microscopes, gauges) to verify product specifications
- Follow established inspection procedures, work instructions, and regulatory standards (FDA, GMP)
- Identify, document, and report defects or nonconformances; collaborate with production teams to resolve issues
- Conduct final inspections and quality checks prior to product release
- Maintain complete, accurate, and organized inspection records and documentation
- Support root cause investigations and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and product quality
- Assist in training team members on inspection methods and quality procedures
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) and quality methodologies to monitor performance
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Adhere to cleanroom protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP, and ISO 13485:2016 standards
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects accurately
- Experience working with SOPs and in cleanroom environments
- Knowledge of statistical process control and quality systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Experience handling small, delicate components with high precision
- Familiarity with innovation-focused or R&D environments
Physical Requirements- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds as needed
- Strong fine motor skills for handling small components

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
